Abstract
The research sought to determine the relation between the components of information technologyrepresented (human resources, physical components, software components, databases, communication networks) andelectronic purchasing, based on a set of assumptions that state that these activities are related to and affectelectronic purchasing, the study applied to al-etihad food industries company / babil / iraq, where the questionnaireform was used as a main tool for data collection, as the study sample reached (278) working individuals, and inorder to extract the required results, the statistical package (spss.v.25 & amos.v.25) was used. Correlation andinfluence tests were used to verify the study hypotheses. The results of the statistical analysis supported the studyhypotheses and showed the existence of a correlation and influence relationship for the components of informationtechnology on the electronic purchasing dimension.
