Abstract

The major concern of the study is the relationship between the kind of individual characters as members or chiefs of a work team and the effectiveness of the efficiency for those teams and to achieve that the study adoptes the big five of the characters model and the ( Wood,2001) model as standard models for testing . in local environment, to verify similarity .The study depends on a questionnaire arranged upon the above models variables .A 48 questionnaire were distributed and they were all recollected at the engineering affairs unit of Al-Qadissiya University. During February 2008 . and through using some statistical methods like " Average, standard deviation, the correlation of Spearman, ANOVA" the study reached the point that the consensual kind is the major and the distinguishing kind for the under test of the participating the organizational learning leadership character .the stud also showed that there was a relationship between the characters type of a person and being a member or a chief for an effective team. The study results in a few recommendations that verified the idea of studying the members characters before joining them into a specific teams, and then pays more attention to the sides in which performed a weaknesses at the teams efficiency like considering the most important sides that participating enhancing solidarity of the team. Through making the members of the team feeling more responsible and giving them more jurisdictions that lays along this responsibility, and by that encouraging them participating the future teams.
