Abstract

The subject of supply chain has a significant importance by researchers in field of operations and marketing management in both theoretical and practical fields . which led to the necessity for improve successful strategies of supply chain and additional to the organization strategies in order to achieve the competitive characteristic . through this importance it has been specified the research problem by bringing up inquiries to know the special strategies of supply chain and convenience in the factory under studying also known the succeed requirements and also know the impact of these strategies in achieving competitive advantage for the plant under studying .The main objective of the research was to identify the views of researchers on the concept of the supply chain, as well as diagnosis the impact nature of the relationship between supply chain strategies and competitive advantage, which led to the formulation of the null hypothesis to find out the effect relationship between the variables of the study, a strategy of the supply chain, and the dimensions of competitive advantage .It has been found by searching a set of conclusions, notably that the supply chain is a part of the value chain that deal with the key activities and also of influence strategies for supply chain competitive advantage which occupied the outward supply strategy ranked first in the influence. It was also a set of recommendations, the most important is to stress the need of building a long-term relationship with suppliers and the trend towards establishment of partnership relations, as well as the need to adopt competitive standards by factory management in the selection of processors, namely, (cost, quality and speed of delivery).
